Apple has discontinued the Plus-sized iPhone after a three-year run, replacing it with the new, slimmer, and lighter Air model priced at $999. The Plus, like the Mini before it, failed to attract enough buyers, as consumers preferred either the standard iPhone or the Pro models with enhanced features.
